<![CDATA[Two men were arrested on Wednesday for allegedly planning to kill the witness of a murder case, the police told. The duo was nabbed near Rohini Courts, the police added. Deputy Commissioner of Police (Special Cell) P.S. Kushwah told that Rovin alias Mohan, a resident of Haryana, and Kartik alias Lokesh Kalyan, a resident of Delhi, have been arrested. The accused had allegedly planned to kill a woman who was the witness of a murder case against the accused gang member Robin, resident of Haryana, the police told adding that Robin, who is currently in jail, was to be produced in the court on Wednesday. that Robin had allegedly murdered the woman’s brother who was a witness in murder case of Robin’s family friend Munna Singh. Mr. Kushwah also told that the accused had also planned to murder the woman’s other brother who is also a witness in the murder case against Robin. Around 11 a.m., the duo was spotted on a bike near DUJ Apartment in Rohini Sector 14. Following this, they were arrested after identification. Mr. Kushwah added saying that Lokesh was earlier into petty crimes like quarrel but later joined the group of Karamvir alias Kala. Other accused Mohan was earlier arrested in a rape case but was released on bail. He was arrested twice later for possession of illegal firearm.]]>
