<![CDATA[A three-year-old boy who went missing on Republic Day was rescued by the north-west Delhi Police from a woman on Sunday. The accused, a resident of Badli area, was arrested and produced before the Duty Magistrate on Sunday, they told, adding that the woman kidnapped the boy as she could not have children. The police told the boy was reported missing from the weekly market in the evening on January 26. An FIR was registered under relevant sections of the IPC at Shalimar Bagh police station. Local intelligence was alerted. The police received a tip-off regarding the kidnapper and the child was safely recovered from the woman’s home in Badli,. The police added that she had adopted a child, who died a natural death, a while back. She was depressed and decided to kidnap a child.
