Manipur, Bishnupur: On 23.03.2025, security forces apprehended three active cadres of PREPAK (Pro) from Kumbi Terakhong under Kumbi Police Station, Bishnupur District. The arrested individuals have been identified as Oinam Abung Meitei (31), Yumlembam Romesh Singh @ Ratan (47), and RK Navy Meitei (32).
During the operation, the following items were recovered from their possession:
Weapons & Ammunition:
One .303 LMG, Two .303 LMG magazines, Sixteen rounds of .303 live ammunition, Three rounds of 7.62 mm SLR live ammunition, One round of 5.56 mm INSAS live ammunition, One round of 7.62 mm AK live ammunition, Twenty-four rounds of live Ballister cartridges, and One .303 blank ammunition.
Explosives & Accessories:
One No. 36 Hand Grenade key, and three grenade arm rings
Other Seized Items:
One four-wheeler, and two mobile phones
The arrested individuals, along with the seized items, have been taken into custody for further investigation.
