Amritsar: The Punjab Police aligning with the Police Pensioners Welfare Association celebrated Police Elders Day at the Police lines on Saturday. The Police Commissioner Dr.Sukhchain Singh Gill met and had a discussion with the retired police officers and meanwhile listened to the problems that they are facing. The Association members that were led by its President Mr. SS. Chhina, apprised the police officers of the new policies and notifications that were issued by the government. He also highlighted the achievements of the Association in the current financial year. He said pensioners were a perpetual source of knowledge and could prove helpful to improve the professionalism in the police force.
