Sivagangai: In Karaikudi of Sivagangai district, a session on private hostel regulations and safety was organized by the police at a private wedding hall. Deputy Superintendent of Police, Mr. Prakash, presided over the event where attendees engaged in detailed discussions. Various law enforcement issues were addressed, including the importance of sharing suspicious activity information with the police, installing surveillance cameras at key hostel junctions, and identifying and prohibiting individuals involved in illicit activities like gambling. Innkeepers were briefed on diverse protocols, with a stern warning from the police against engaging in illegal activities. Over a hundred participants, comprising hostel owners, staff, journalists, and law enforcement officials, actively took part in the consultation.
