Almora: As the COVID-19 pandemic has been creating a great deal of damage to the lives of the people the Government had brought in guidelines that need to be followed to save the people from the corona infection. The police have been acting as the frontline warriors during the CIVID-19 pandemic and have been making all efforts to save the people from the deadly COVID-19 infection.
The police have been involved in the checking process to ensure that no anti-social elements succeed in their destructive activities. During such a checking process on 10.05.2021, SHO Mr. Someshwar Rajendra Singh Bisht arrested Manoj Kumar Nayal son of Dhan Singh resident of village Falta, Someshwar district with 02 boxes of country liquor.
He was arrested for opening a liquor shop in violation of the COVID-19 curfew. After searching the shop, 24 bottles of illegitimate liquor Bajpur Gulab in 02 boxed liquor of country spiced marka which was priced at Rs.6700 was recovered. In this regard, a case was registered.
