Guwahati: The Deputy Inspector General of Police (Administration) Assam and Chief of Special Task Force, Mr. Partha Sarathi Mahanta IPS received his Ph.D degree from Assam Down Town University for his research titled “A Comprehensive Analysis of Challenges and Strategies to Attain Work-Life Balance in the Police Profession, with a Special Emphasis on the Guwahati Police Commissionerate.”
Mr. Partha Sarathi Mahanta IPS formally received the Ph. D degree from the Governor of Assam, Gulab Chand Kataria at the convocation ceremony of the Assam Down Town University.
Mr Mahanta completed his research under the supervision of Dr Homeswar Goswami, a Retired Head of the Department of Economics at Dibrugarh University, who currently serves as a Senior Professor in the Department of Management at Assam Down Town University.
