<![CDATA[A 54-year-old finance manager was poisoned by his wife in New Delhi’s Mandir Marg, the police told on Sunday. D.S. Murti’s wife K.V. Rama (42) and Tantrik Shyam Singh were arrested on Sunday, the police told, adding that Mr. Singh had supplied her the poison. Ms. Rama who worked as a stenographer in a Central Ministry had left her husband at Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital (RML) on February 26 claiming she found him on the road in an unconscious state. She gave a fake address and mobile number at the hospital and left. Mr. Madhur Verma, DCP (New Delhi) told that Ms. Rama was traced later with help of CCTV footage and her car’s registration number. She broke down during interrogation and confessed to the crime and told she was unhappy in the marriage as her husband was an alcoholic.
