<![CDATA[Since August 8, thousands of people are fighting for survival as the number of deaths has reached 197 in the past 10 days of the monsoon attack in Kerala. Amidst this risky weather conditions, a young Air Force officer, Wing Commander Prashanth, successfully winched up a toddler to safety from the roof-top of a marooned house. He slided down a rope to the terrace of the two-storied house which seemed from above like a toy floating on the dark waters. He later handed over the baby to his anxious mother waiting inside the chopper who was almost in tears. The mother of the toddler was very thankful and relieved as she received her child in her arms. ]]>
