Tamil Nadu, Tirunelveli: Mariselvam (30), son of Paramasivan from Malayalamedu, Lajapathi Nagar, Tirunelveli Pettai, also known as Uzhuvai Paramasivan, has six pending cases against him, including two for attempted murder. Due to his involvement in activities that disrupted public order, he was detained under the Prevention of Gangsters Act and remanded in Palayamkottai Central Jail. This action was taken on 14.02.2025, based on the recommendation of Deputy Commissioner of Police V. Geetha, Assistant Commissioner of Police K. Ajukumar, and Town Police Inspector P. Gopalakrishnan, following orders from Commissioner of Police Santosh Hathimani, I.P.S.
