Andhra Pradesh: DGP Mr. K.V. Rajendranath Reddy IPS conducted a meeting at Nandyala District Police Office with DIGs, SPs, and other police officials from Kurnool, Nandyala, Ananthapuram, Sri Sathya Sai, and Kadapa Districts. The meeting included the following points:
Emphasized the importance of impartiality and adherence to the law during the upcoming elections, without yielding to any external pressures.
Recommended the implementation of comprehensive measures to ensure the seamless execution of the forthcoming elections.
Directed the team to maintain a heightened surveillance focus on areas and polling stations identified as problematic within the districts.
Instructed officials to proactively visit problematic villages, enhance surveillance, and establish necessary arrangements well in advance of the election to prevent any potential untoward incidents.
