Tamil Nadu, Madurai: In observance of National Road Safety Month, the Vadipatti Regional Transport Office in Madurai District, in collaboration with the Police and Traffic Police, organized an awareness rally emphasizing the importance of wearing helmets and seat belts. The event was presided over by Regional Traffic Motor Vehicle Inspector Anitha, with Police Inspectors Valarmathi and (Traffic) Vivekanandhan in attendance.
Social Security Scheme Tahsildar Parthiban inaugurated the motorcycle rally by distributing awareness pamphlets. Two-wheeler riders in public areas were encouraged to wear helmets, with officials explaining the necessity of helmet use and the risks of riding without one. The event saw participation from various individuals, including members of the Madurai Vaigai Two-wheeler Mechanic Welfare Association and social activists.
