Srikakulam, Andhra Pradesh: To ensure hassle-free movement for the public in the bustling market zone, the Srikakulam Town Police have implemented special traffic regulation measures, effectively reducing heavy rush and improving pedestrian safety.
With the daily increase in footfall and vehicle flow in the big market area, unauthorized parking and small business stalls were causing frequent traffic jams. Acting on the directions of Srikakulam District SP Sri K. V. Maheshwara Reddy, IPS, the Town Police, under the supervision of Town DSP Ch. Vivekananda, launched a comprehensive traffic management initiative to overcome the issue.
As a result of these well-coordinated measures, vehicle movement has become smoother and congestion has dropped noticeably, earning appreciation from traders, residents and visitors. People expressed that they are now able to move comfortably without long delays.
