Srikakulam, Andhra Pradesh: On the occasion of Rathasaptami celebrations, the Shobha Yatra held on Friday afternoon passed off peacefully under strong police security arrangements. Acting on the directives of District Superintendent of Police Shri K.V. Maheshwara Reddy, IPS, police officers and staff ensured seamless coordination throughout the event.
The procession, which proceeded from K.R. Stadium to Arasavalli Sri Suryanarayana Swamy Temple, was conducted smoothly without any traffic disruption, obstruction, or inconvenience to the general public.
The District SP closely monitored the security arrangements from the police control room, issuing timely instructions and guidance to officers on duty to ensure the orderly conduct of the Shobha Yatra. Adequate measures were taken to facilitate the safe and peaceful participation of devotees and the public, reflecting the police department’s effective planning and commitment to public safety.
