Kolar, Karnataka: Promoting fitness and a drug-free society, the Kolar District Police organized a 5K Run Marathon titled “Run with Police – 2026” in Kolar city today under the inspiring slogan “Drug-Free Karnataka, Fitness for All.”
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from citizens, youth, students, and police personnel, reflecting strong community support for the anti-drug awareness initiative. The marathon aimed to spread the message of healthy living while strengthening the bond between the police and the public.
Winners of the 5K run were honored with medals and certificates of appreciation in recognition of their outstanding performance. Senior police officials appreciated the participants for their active involvement and reiterated the department’s commitment to building a safe, healthy, and drug-free Karnataka.
The successful organization of the event highlights the proactive efforts of the police in promoting social awareness and community engagement beyond their regular law enforcement duties.
