Kolar, Karnataka: Acting promptly on complaints from the public, police at the Royalpadu Police Station successfully traced and recovered several stolen mobile phones.
According to police, residents had approached the station reporting that their mobile phones had been stolen. Following the complaints, officers used the Central Equipment Identity Register (CEIR) Portal to trace the missing devices.
Through technical tracking and coordinated efforts, the police located the stolen phones and recovered them. The mobile phones were later handed over to their rightful owners, who expressed appreciation for the swift action taken by the police.
The initiative highlights the effective use of technology by the police to resolve theft complaints and provide timely assistance to the public.
