Cyberabad, Telangana: In a significant step towards strengthening community safety and crime prevention, 35 CCTV cameras were inaugurated at the Mahidhara Gated Community, enhancing surveillance and security in the locality and its surrounding areas.
The newly installed CCTV network is expected to improve real-time monitoring, assist in the prevention and detection of crimes, and support police investigations by providing valuable video evidence whenever required. The initiative also aims to deter anti-social activities and promote a safer environment for residents.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by senior police officials, including the Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP), Serilingampally, the Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP), RC Puram, and the Station House Officer (SHO), Patancheru, along with members of the residents’ community.
Addressing the gathering, the police emphasized the importance of community participation in maintaining law and order. They encouraged citizens to continue supporting policing initiatives through the adoption of modern security measures such as CCTV surveillance, which plays a vital role in ensuring public safety.
The installation of the cameras reflects the strong partnership between the police and the community in creating a secure and peaceful neighbourhood.
