CCB had information that the rowdies were operating from inside jail and controlling the gangs’ outside .on 30th Nov morning Central Crime Branch (CCB) officers raided the Bengaluru city Parappana Agrahara Jail and seized Ganjas and other smoking materials .
Based on the information 2 DCP’s and 15 Police Inspectors with jail staffs raided the Jail early morning on November 30th. They were sure that the rowdies were operation from inside the Jail .
Central Crime Branch (CCB) officials later filed a complaint with the jurisdictional Parappana Agrahara police about the seizure of drugs from the barracks of undertrials and convicts, and sought a detailed investigation.
CCB officers said they had been warned that hoodlums and rowdies are working their groups from inside. They are giving guidelines and conveying consistently through cell phones. In any case, CCB authorities didn’t track down any cell phone during the hunt.
