Andhra Pradesh, Kakinada: On 19.11.2024, the SP of Kakinada inaugurated the “I AM CYBER AWARE” campaign at JNTU, Kakinada, to enhance awareness about cybercrime. Students were educated on issues such as digital arrest, stock market frauds, job scams, and KYC frauds. Awareness videos and posters were launched, set to be widely circulated on social media platforms, including WhatsApp. Police officers, along with GMSKs and WMSKs, will carry out outreach activities in colleges, schools, villages, offices, and public spaces, using interactive sessions to emphasize cyber safety. The program aims to cover the entire Kakinada District, reaching all educational institutions and villages to promote a culture of cyber awareness.
