Chikkamagaluru: On the 20th of November 2023, a significant operation unfolded as the Crime Police Station of PSI CEN, accompanied by dedicated personnel, executed a targeted raid. Their focus was on eradicating the illicit drug trade within the confines of Vastare Village in Chikmagalur Taluk.
The culmination of their efforts resulted in the apprehension of two individuals who were actively involved in the sale of ganja. This illegal operation was being conducted covertly within the confines of a Goods Auto. The diligent actions of the law enforcement team led to not only the arrest of the offenders but also the seizure of a substantial quantity of contraband, specifically 450 grams of ganja.
Moreover, as a critical part of this operation, the authorities took possession of the Goods Auto that was utilized as a means to facilitate this unlawful activity.
