Manipur, Imphal East, April 9, 2025: In a significant seizure, Manipur Police apprehended two individuals and confiscated 115 bottles of Tussrex-TR syrup, containing Codeine Phosphate and Tripolidine HCL, during an operation at Langthabal Kunja Mayai Leikai under the jurisdiction of Singjamei Police Station.
The arrested individuals have been identified as: Rahul Kshetriya (23), a resident of Singjamei Wangma Torban Kshetri Leikai, Kshetrimayum Leirak; Thokchom Angamba Singh (24), hailing from Kakwa Lamdaibung Leikai.
Law Enforcement Authorities are continuing investigations to trace the source and intended distribution of the seized contraband.
