Srikakulam: Srikakulam District Superintendent of Police (SP), Mr. K.V. Maheswara Reddy, IPS, reported a significant breakthrough in solving a series of thefts that had recently plagued the area under Gara Police Station’s jurisdiction. The suspect, who had been involved in multiple thefts, was successfully apprehended after thorough investigative efforts. The police were able to connect the accused to three separate cases, leading to his arrest. Furthermore, 85 grams of gold and 1 kilogram of silver, which had been stolen in these incidents, were fully recovered, marking a significant achievement for the local police force.

This successful operation was conducted under the diligent supervision of Srikakulam Sub-Division Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), Sri Vivekananda. The team, led by Circle Inspector (CI) Paidipu Naidu, Sub-Inspector of Police (SSI) Janardana Rao, and other officers, showcased exceptional skill and efficiency in cracking these cases, which had raised concerns among the local residents.

In addition to the cases related to the Gara Police Station, another significant achievement came from the team handling the Laveru Police Station area. Circle Inspector (CI) M Avataram, along with Sub-Inspector of Police (SSI) Laxmana Rao and their team, played a key role in solving a critical case linked to Laveru Police Station. Their swift action and investigative prowess were crucial in bringing the accused to justice and recovering the stolen property.

Recognizing the outstanding efforts of both teams, SP Mr. K.V. Maheswara Reddy, IPS, extended his heartfelt congratulations to all involved. He commended their unwavering dedication, expertise, and teamwork in handling these challenging cases. The SP also highlighted that the recovery of precious gold and silver would not only reassure the affected victims but also boost public confidence in the police’s ability to tackle criminal activities effectively.

The SP’s recognition of these officers’ efforts underscores the importance of diligent police work in maintaining law and order in the district. The entire operation stands as a testament to the coordinated efforts of the police teams, their investigative acumen, and their commitment to ensuring the safety and security of the public.
