Tamil Nadu, Tenkasi: Constable 2084, Deivathiru Pasupathi Mari, from Kulasekaran Fort in Tenkasi District, who served in the Tenkasi Armed Forces, passed away on 06/08/2024 due to ill health. In response, his colleagues from the 2017 Tamil Nadu Police batch, through the WhatsApp group “2017-Batch Kakakum Kappagal Group,” collected Rs.24,25,900 in assistance from 6,802 police personnel across 38 districts. The amount was handed over to Pasupathi Mari’s family by Tenkasi District Superintendent of Police, Mr. V.R. Srinivasan, in the presence of members of the 2017-Batch Kakakum Kappagal Group.
