Kamrup: In a meticulously planned and executed operation at the 9th mile, situated within the jurisdiction of Basistha Police Station in Kamrup District, the Special Task Force (STF) in Assam demonstrated commendable efficiency in apprehending an individual engaged in the illicit trade of drugs. The thorough search and seizure yielded a substantial cache, comprising 52 vials containing a total of 86.5 grams of heroin.
The inventory of confiscated items further included a significant sum of Rs. 3290 in cash, emphasizing the financial aspect of the apprehended individual’s illegal activities. Notably, the discovery of three empty vials and a lighter adds layers to the investigation, suggesting potential links to drug preparation and distribution.
