Andhra Pradesh, Tirupati: The Task Force police seized 11 red sandalwood logs and a car, arresting three smugglers in the CK Dinne mandal of the Kadapa forest area. Acting on the orders of Task Force Incharge, Tirupati District Spl. Subbarayudu and under the direction of Task Force SP Srinivas, RSI Suresh Babu’s team, following instructions from DSP G. Balireddy, conducted a combing operation in the CK Dinne area of Kadapa district on Sunday night.
During the operation, the team intercepted a group loading red sandalwood logs into a car in the Maddimadugu forest area. While some managed to escape, three individuals were apprehended. The arrested smugglers have been identified as residents of Salem district in Tamil Nadu. The seized items, including 11 red sandalwood logs and the vehicle, were taken to the Tirupati Task Force Police Station. SI Rafi has registered a case, and an investigation is underway to apprehend the remaining fugitives.
